Part 1 - Life Under the Sun: Oracle 1
Gaze Once More at the Horizon
Can you see the sun, there on the horizon, its light shining on you?
If at this moment it is hidden from your eyes then look with your soul, and feel in your heart the warmth of its glow. It is always there.
Look beyond fire and flesh, water, word, and breath, the darkness and the light; look beyond the metaphors they contain, past the horizon itself to the One Great Truth from which they all arise—each in part, each one in its own way.
Now, gaze once more at the horizon. Does the sun rise, or does it set?
Everyone must ask this question—at one time, or another—in one way, or another—when contemplating their life under the sun:
On your life, does the sun rise, or does it set?
