Part II: The Spirit of Wisdom (and the Corruption of Madness)
The Endless Spiral of Life
It may seem like a trivial thing to ponder the shape of the path that life takes through eternity, but the more fully you can comprehend it the more fully you will understand another truth about the Way:

Life does not take the path of a circle, because when a circle completes itself it is destined to repeat the same course endlessly.
In order for a circle to grow, it has to be broken and its curve reshaped so that every step it took before must be shifted slightly in order to accommodate its enlarged reality.
This is not good because good does not change. Good multiplies and has the capacity to express itself an endless number of different ways, but if it must change the essence of what it is in order to grow then it was never good to begin with.
To view life as a circle is not wise. It encourages limited thinking, and the repetition of old behaviors.
It is never good to repeat evil. Good is not meant to be repeated but expanded upon—one step at a time.

The path of life also is not a straight line that always goes forward and never looks back. Good must cooperate with good in order for it to be good. It does not run ahead forgetting where it came from and abandoning everything it passes by. Only thinking about the advancement of one’s self is evil.
In theory, a straight line could go on forever if it were good, but to walk this way is selfish, which is evil. Death and evil are inseparable companions and so every straight line must eventually end.
To view life as a straight line is not wise. If the only path in life that matters to you is the one that travels from your birth to your death, then you have failed to grasp what life truly is and death will be your final destination.

The path that life takes as it advances through space and time is that of a spiral, radiating out and enveloping everything that already exists. Though it endlessly expands, it never repeats itself and always stays connected to the source of life. It advances by creating new life alongside the old.
Each soul is meant to progress along its own right path, but everyone who follows the path of All-That-is-Good will see their courses intersect many times throughout eternity.
When death and evil are no more, and good is all that remains; our souls may not always journey side by side, but even when we are far away we will know all is near and all is well because of the perfect harmony that exists between All-That-is-Good.
This is the path of the Way, the endless spiral of life. Wisdom determines its course, and madness is not found there. Everyone who gives themselves over to the pursuit of All-That-is-Good is free to explore its ever-expanding ways and spiral on in pursuit of infinitely greater blessings and truths, now and forever.
