Foreword: What is a Word?
An external manifestation of an internal translation of wisdom, madness, order, chaos, beauty, or destruction; words are the creative force of all that is seen and unseen.
At the bidding of a well-formed word, matter will arise and energy burst forth, mountains will move and storms will cease, food won’t spoil, the sick will be made well, hearts will beat, and spirits renew.
So, choose your words carefully, for the spirit from which they are derived is mighty.
Though our conscious minds may not readily admit it, our souls testify that every word misused is a spirit abused – for there is no such thing as an empty word, only broken promises that we fail to fulfill.
So, choose your words carefully, for you are merely borrowing from what came before you.
With words we can either create or destroy, illuminate or conceal, empower or dismay. Every element is filled with meaning and energy, possessing both good and evil in varying proportions. Every utterance is formed by spirited breath.
So, choose your words carefully, for why waste your breath?
By royal decree, great speeches, spells, prophecies, proverbs, songs, prayers, praises, blessings, curses, chants, and lamentations, men have sought to possess the power of the Word, but every time they fail; for its spirit is not ours to own, but only to accept.
So choose your words carefully, for they will lead you to either life or death.
