The Essence of Life
From a single source, a single cell, a single division—life begins.
In a single thought, a single moment, a single union—life begins.
In every singular instance—change occurs
But to what end?
Zero is nothing and One is life.
If there is One then there must be Two—the differing states of nothing and life.
If there is One then there must be Two—the creator and the creation.
If there are Two then there is One, and if the Two are One, then there must be Three--
The common spirit which connects creator and creation.
Zero does not enter into the equation; it merely defines the outer bounds.
Zero does not enter into the equation because it does not exist.
Every single life is threefold in its existence—the creator, the created, and their common spirit.
Every single life has the capacity to be a creator, sharing with its creations a common spirit.
Thought and thinker, art and artist, child and parent, grandchild and grandparent—creation and creator;
All are inextricably intertwined until the terminus of two possible paths through life:
The path to Zero, the finite road, the illusory cycle of death and renewal; infinite only in its manifestations of false oneness—also known as selfishness, a dissociation from the threefold harmony of life; this path is as prevalent as the selfishness which defines it.
The other path is the path of One, the Way, the endless spiral of life; true oneness—infinite in scope, the road to perfect harmony. It is walked by everyone who desires life over selfishness.
In the beginning, our first father and first mother—the root of our tree, the seed of humanity—chose Zero and together as one they wove it into our common thread. They gave emptiness an entryway, madness a foothold, and evil a destination.
Their choice changed the world, but the journey remains the same: Live while you are alive.
But To what end?
Zero or One.
The body is already lost, but the soul--
Zero or One?
